carl- i am very intrigued by your site. i grew up in the episcopal church (my step father is a priest) and left to become a pagan in college. i had a long dark night of the soul when my mother died and i have been searching for my place ever since. the mantra i adopted to get through that difficult time was “all is well, all is well and all manner of things shall be well.” i found this quote when i went through my mother’s things. i have been hoping to find a blend of the metaphysical and traditional christianity. perhaps you have found just that with your study of the christian mystics. i am in atlanta an curious about your group. do you have any classes or workshops coming up?
Thanks for your comment, Caroline. I do think that Christian mysticism offers a rewarding spirituality for many people who have been turned off or wounded by institutional/dogmatic Christian religion. As for classes and events, please consider coming to the next Julian meeting; that’s the best way to connect.
